About This Lesson
Metcon is a 10 minute circuit consists of 10 distinct exercises, each of which is done at a high intensity for one minute with no break in between. The circuit generally rotates through different lower body, upper body, and cardio exercises three times (i.e., strength, strength, cardio, repeat 3x!), and finishes up exercise #10 with full body conditioning. The entire circuit is repeated a total of 3 times with one minute rest in between sets. The icing on the cake of METCON 3 is the 3 “finishers” tacked on at the end of the 30 minute routine. So just when you think you can’t push yourself anymore… you have burpees or floor to sky jumps to look forward to!!
